Tricking out the Montesa: Part 2

Bit of a delay with the updates on the progress with the new Montesa but there’s plenty of new stuff to show off. Since the last update, which had just the new colours rims, hubs and trick disks, there’s been a bundle of goodies arriving in the post.

First up came the most anticipated of all. The new flat tank came from H and D Racing who do an awesome job making these things. The photo below shows the tank as it arrived, followed by photos of it on the bike. Check out their site for more info.

After this was a minor addition of swinging arm protectors as I seem to do a good job of rubbing mine, which isn’t ideal when the time comes to sell (even though that is a long, long time off). This was put on along with new Jitsie footrest hangings, which bring the footrests back about 10mm and makes a significant difference.

Then this week the last of the stuff came through. I have had a new set of Jitsie fatbars sat around waiting for the arrival of my new yolks, which finally arrived along with a new carbon fiber exhaust guard. The next few photos show off the bike in all it’s glory.

So there it is. There’s not a great deal left to be done as it stands now. I’m toying with the idea of some red colours hosing and maybe some changes to the stickers, but the bulk of it is now finished. Let me know what you think.
