The much anticipated launch of the new Xispa trials bike took place at the final world round this weekend in Andorra. First impressions are mixed really. I can’t quote work out whether I like it or not. The bike is manufactured in China and they claim will be significantly cheaper then other bikes. I can’t help but wonder what the quality of the product will be like. The overall look of the bike is quite simplistic. The graphics are relatively boring and the bikes isn’t exactly the most colourful of characters. It’s just very very black. It reminds me a lot of the Sherco really and the engine looks tiny.
I’m looking forward to trying the new machine out and it’s always exciting when something new like this comes out in trials. You can see photos of the Xispa here and here with a write up (translation).
